Necastle United is again interested in Hamburg's striker
Pierre-Michel Lasogga. The club has called HSV sporting director Peter
Knabel several times but have not made an official offer yet.
Martin Odegaard has accepted Real Madrid conditions and he will play
in Spain. The spanish side will pay a €2M fee and he will sign until
2018
Arsenal are considering spending £15m on Valencia defenders Joao
Pereira and Jose Luis Gaya. The Gunners have held talks with the Spanish
side over bringing the pair to north London in January.
West Brom are set to end Silvestre Varela's loan early after the
winger struggled to make an impact at the Hawthorns. Varela will now
move to Parma on loan for the rest of the season.
West Brom are set to offer striker Saido Berahino a two-year contract
extension at the Hawthorns. The Baggies will also double the
21-year-old's wages to £50,000-a-week.
West Brom and Crystal Palace are keeping tabs on Hoffenheim forward Anthony Modeste, whose contract expires next summer.
With Celtic stalling on a move for the forward, Derry City's Michael
Duffy is set to follow his team mate Patrick McEleney with a trial at
Championship side Brentford.
PSG forward Edinson Cavani favours a move to Arsenal, rather than
Premier League rivals Manchester United or Liverpool. The Uruguayan is
unlikely to be sold in January but could leave in the summer.
Chelsea winger Marko Marin, shortly playing for Fiorentina this
season, will finish this season on loan at Belgium side Anderlecht. The
German has passed the medical tests. Anderlecht also has an option to
buy Marin after this season.
