4 suspected terrorists killed by hunters in Adamawa

The terrorists were reportedly killed on Monday, January 19, as they approached the town which borders Borno State.

4 suspected members of Boko Haram have been killed by hunters in Guyuk town, Adamawa State.
The terrorists were reportedly killed on Monday, January 19, as they approached the town which borders Borno State.
They were intercepted by the hunters who had been notified of their presence.
A witness Aminu Buba Usman reportedly told Punch:
“The Boko Haram members are suspected to be parts of insurgents who had earlier attacked Gombi and found their way through Guyuk.”
“The local hunters in the area were alerted to the presence of the insurgents in the area, approaching the gate of the Guyuk town. The hunters ambushed them and killed four of them instantly,” Usman said.
Usman added that the terrorists died after a fierce gun battle with the hunters.
Boko Haram has in recent times launched an onslaught on Adamawa and Borno leaving many dead and rendering several others homeless.
